Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Meeting that the present high & rapidly increasing Price of Copper is a Subject of serious Alarm to the Manufacturing & Mercantile Interest of this Town & Neighbourhood & is a Matter of the greatest Moment to the Welfare thereof.
We recommend that this Subject be taken into immediate Consideration by this Society & that a Committee be appointed at the next Meeting to investigate the Same. And it is accordingly adjourned to Friday Morning next the 22d inst at Eleven O’Clock.
