| Description | London Feb 10—1764 My Dearest I this day recvd. a Letter from Cozn: Kitty wch. hath put a final period to every thing that is agreeable here & I shall hast home sooner than my Business requires—from various disapointments I have most of my Business yet to do & fear that my Appointments will not Permitt me to sett our before Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morng. but hope to God I shall receive some further Acct. of thy health on Monday morng. or I query if I shall stay any longer as I am extreamly unhappy at ye account of thy ill health I beg nothing may be delayd that is necessary for thy safety & restoration of it—with best wishes & most Ardent Prayers for thy Welfair I remain Thy most uneasy & affectionate Husband Mattw.
