Description(Postmarked 12 Nov. Directed to Snow Hill.)
Dont let my dearest Wife think I slight her by writeing so seldom—no indeed I feel her like a Cordial near my heart but I have here no home to sit down in, nor no rest for my self nor time neither, I own it looks like neglecting her I have been excessivly harassd this day—long lookt for is come at last—but Silence I beg—Oppenheim will break in a few days—its lucky that I am [in] London by wch. I hope to save some Hundreds
Mr Fothergill says you have some thoughts of coming to London. I am sincerely rejoyced to hear you are so well but dont set out yet for untill I have settled & overcome the above disagreable circumstance I cannot enjoy my self nor make my Dearest so happy as she merits
You shall soon hear again from me & be assured I remain
Your Faithfull and affectionate Husband
