My dear Nanny
The great Engine hath not yet made one Stroke but as it will be ready to set to work on Monday morning I have concluded to stay & see its first Movements. I have done my business at Coventry which I beg You will inform Mr Fothergill of & tell him I have sent the Bill to Mrs Matthews. I have no particular news to tell you. I am very well & so are my Brother Engineers who desire their best Compliments
