| Description | London Saterday night My dear Creature I am now in the midst of a Crowded Coffe house & therefore cannot write to thee all I wish to say. but can in general say that all hethertoo goes to my Wish & my proceedings here in respect to thyselfe give me the most perfect Satisfaction I have receivd [1] great pleasure at two plays a discription of which would fill many sheets of paper yet my pleasure was very deficient for want of thee & thee only for when anything here strikes me with great pleasure I at the same time feel a restless pain for want of thee to partake of it every thing I see thats pretty I have a mind to buy for thee but then I consider thou art in mourning [2] & canst not ware it at present & by the time thou art out of it I hope to bring thee to choose for thy selfe for realy London is a Charming Place & I promise my self great Joy in shewing thee some of its delights. I cannot return so soon as I expected for the days are so short & Cold that Business cannot be dispatched as I intended. I have no particular News Nor do I want to hear any so much as hearing of thy health & happiness.
