As the bearer (who is a Relation) will go thro’ Lichfield on his way to Cheadle, I cannot avoid giving my dear Miss Robinson a letter to let her know I arrived Safe in Town, and to Assure her that she has and always will have my best Wishes; I hope I shall have the pleasure of offering them to you in person when you do me the favor of accompanying me to Cheadle, as you and Miss Boulton both obligingly promised you woud do. I hope you won’t neglect the performance of that promise, as I can assure you in the Names of All my Relations, that they will all be glad to Cultivate an Acquaintance with you. In the mean time you wou’d greatly add to the favors you have already Conferred upon me, by giving me one line, and your Consent to carry on a mutual Correspondence; I assure you I shall be very Sensible of the honor, and be glad of evr’y opportunity of deserving it, and I hope the Same candid Justice that has always guided you in all your Actions, will prompt you to rank in the number of your Sincerest Admirers Dearest Madam Your most obedt. hb[le Servt] Thom Hurst
