Description‘One Cask of Oil is all that I have yet seen of the Package you specify, but I have given Directions for Enquiry to be made at the Carrier’s Warehouse in Birmingham. Mr. Boulton thinks some Sand should be provided by you for the outside of Soho House, which is the only Part that any thing can at present be done at, Miss Boulton being unhappily confined to the House & must not be incommoded with the smell of Oils & varnishes, but of this you will hear further from Mr Boulton when you come this way.’
