Dear Sir
I have not been able to meet with Mr Pocock in two or three visits I have made at his house since I received your last letter—I shall try to see him again tomorrow—the Sofa is charged twenty six guineas by Agreement for he wod. not undertake to begin upon one for less and I considered it wod be very incompleat without a Cover I confess I did not expect that wod. cost ten pounds—the remainder of the charge is for packing Case—I send herewith a bottle which I hope will be found to answer all purposes—it is such an one as is not often imported I had it from Mr W H Pepys of the Poultry who declines taking payment for it he says if it is acceptable to Mr Boulton he shall feel amply gratified
