Dr. Cheshire
I dare say you must have heard of the dreadfull Typhus Fever I was attackd. with the day after I was at Soho —Thank God I was enabled to struggle thro’ it & I am making long & hasty strides towards convalescence
When I dined at Mr. Boulton’s some time since there were a pair of Handsome (Silver I suppose) Candle Branches—I take it for granted you have the same in your Shew Room of Brass—will you be so obliging as purchase me one of them—if you will be so kind & pay for it—I will very thankfully return you the Money—It was quite plain without any chasd. work
Dr Sir very much yours
J: Curtis
