| Description | Sir On my return from a Journey on Saturday was favored with your Letter and Drawings of Chimney pieces. and very happy to here that Mr. Boulton is improveing in Health—Please to give my duty and inform him that I will pay every attention to his order as expeditiously as possible If can meet with any Chimney pieces already made that will answer. you shall have Sketches of them with prices—if none can be met with. I will order two to be made without delay in design to be best of my Judgement. I have had the pleasure of seeing the Rooms at Soho, therefore am better able to understand what will be suitable for them. A few weeks after Mr. G Mynd apployed to me about a year ago I made several Sketches of Chimney pieces (which are none of them you sent) according to his request. and sent them by the Coach directed for him at Soho. I have not seen nor heard from him since that time. therefore concluded that it was intended I shoud not proceed any further with the business— You remark that the Drawing Room Chimy Piece shoud be Statuary marble. shoud not the other be Statuary marble also? If Mr. Boulton wishes it to be any other kind of Marble please to inform me—as soon as you can.
