DescriptionSoho, June 29th, 1809.
Respected Sir,
Since my respects by post to-day I have received, and send herewith, the Dies, Drawings, and Instructions referred to in your Letter to Mr. Küchler, who states that the idea of having his work altered by the hand another caused him to deliberate upon the propriety of superseding that necessity by an immediate journey to Town himself; this expedient, however, he has now relinquished, and you will no doubt make proper allowances for those expressions and that conduct which the incoercible feelings of the moment gave rise to.
I beg to transmit, by desire of Mr. Brown, the inclosed Letter of Messrs. Raikes, accompanied by a prohibitory Card, in case you should think proper to communicate on hte occasion with the House in Town. If Mr. Raikes should arrive here, and no specific instructions are received from you, the ground of your Father’s illness, your absence, and the general regulation, will be availed of as handsomely as we can to soften the disappointment.
Mr. Pearson has taken a house in Caroline Street, Birmingham, and Mr. George Haden will remove forthwith, pro tem., to House late Busch.
I remain, Respected Sir, your oblig’d and obedient humble Servant,
Wm. Cheshire
M. Robinson Boulton,
