| Description | London, September 18th, 1809. Mr. William Cheshire. Sir, I beg you to remind Messrs. Barker & Unett that I rely upon some person from their house attending the sale of Sir Thomas Gooch’s property and offering on my behalf, for the part of Hockley Pool which I hold under lease of him to the extent of 22 years, purchase of the rent paid by me, which to the best of my recollection is £18. 18, but of the exact sum you will please to inform them. The day of the sale I apprehend to be the 20th, so that no time should be lost in making the communication to them. I am, sir, your obedient servant, M. Robinson Boulton |
