| Description | Soho, September 20th, 1809. Respected Sir, I was duly honored with your Letter of the 18th instant. The sale of Sir Thomas Gooch’s property on the 22nd instant, in so far as relates to the Pool, has not been advertised since the 21st ultimo. Smith & Arnold say the discontinuance of that part of the advertisement was ordered by Sir Thomas Gooch himself, whose motives they are not apprized of, and that the public sale of the Pool is not intended to take place. I remain, Respected Sir, your obliged and obedient humble Servant, Wm. Cheshire M. R. Boulton, Esqr., London. |
