TitleCopy letter. William Cheshire (Soho) to H. W. Barnes (Birmingham). 15 Sep. 1810.
LevelItem
Date15 Sep 1810
DescriptionIs concerned that Miss Boulton, who returns to Soho at the beginning of next week, will be incommoded by the smell of paint and varnish, to which she is particularly averse. Barnes’s man William says the painting will be finished to-day for varnishing on Monday, and Cheshire urges Barnes to ensure that the varnishing is completed that day, for he would be distressed if Miss Boulton were to be “driven from home or laid up ill” by the smell.
