Date15 Oct 1810
DescriptionOutrages have been daily committed against his family and premises by the factory boys—not only robbing his garden, trespassing on the grounds, injuring fences, and breaking windows, but also pelting his family with stones and insulting them in his absence. To-day the servant-girl was nearly stunned by a very large stone. Frere asks Cheshire to exert his authority to prevent such outrages recurring.
