| Description | These bills relate to the period during which John Roberts kept Matthew Boulton’s Household Accounts, 11 Aug. 1787-17 Feb. 1791. They are numbered in one sequence. This numbering is original, and matches the numbering of the corresponding entries in the Cash Book, 1781-1791, pp. 116-188. No bills for the years 1787 (1-70), 1789 (212-327), or 1791 (424-436) have been found, and only three for 1790. On the other hand, those for 1788 appear to be complete. These were formerly in two bundles: 71-162b, 163-211; the break corresponds to a break in the Cash Book, probably when a balance was struck. The following numbers were used twice: 111, 162. 71-120 have been listed in more detail than the rest.
