John Stacey is one of the Foundry workmen, but Mr. Murdock has told Bennett that he (Stacey) is to account to Mr. Boulton for his time in Oxfordshire.

Letter. John Bennett (Soho Foundry) to William D. Brown (Soho). 31 October 1816.
In order to correct the accounts against the Mint and Great Tew, he has written them out again, with the suggested alterations. Did not know he was doing wrong in charging the cockle to the Mint. Wishes Brown in future to advise the account to be charged when ordering. 22d. per lb. is the correct price for the cockle; they cannot do it cheaper without a loss. (See Transcript.)
