| Description | The Ladies Auxilliary Sales Committee was a voluntary fundraising arm of the Birmingham Medical Mission. It organised annual sales in the Edgbaston Assembly Rooms with stalls selling a variety of goods from sweets to books. Mrs Elsie Lees served as President of the Committee. The name of this organisation was later shortened to the 'Ladies Committee.' |
