| Description | Arranged chronologically by date of admission, with an alphabetical index of girls by surname at the front of the volume. The amount of information given for each child entered in the register varies. Entries typically include the name of the child, date of admission and some information regarding employment and progress after leaving the orphanage. The register contains the following loose papers:
- three lists of names and addresses of old girls, dated 1935, 1936 and 1937
- two application forms for the admission of Mary Gwendoline Edwards and Harriet Elizabeth Edwards (admitted to the orphanage in 1905) |
