| Description | The Midland Adult School Union General Trust was formed in 1961 to deal with the income received when the Bewdley Guest House was sold. In May 1963, the Midland Adult School Union Executive Committee was given the power to use half of the interest from the proceeds of the sale of the Guest House for education and other suitable purposes as the need arose and in 1970, it was agreed that money could be transferred from the Guest House Fund to the General Fund as and when necessary. Proceeds from the sale of other properties were also subsequently added to this fund.
From 1989, it was agreed that regular meetings should be held relating to matters of the Trust as no meetings of Trustees had been held specifically relating to Trust business prior to this date. |
