| Description | The Severn Street Swimming Club was founded in 1892 by members of Class XVII Bristol Street Division of Severn Street Adult School. By 1895, the club had 85 members and included a ladies division. It had moved to Kent Street Baths by 1895, remaining there until 1977 when it moved to Monument Road Baths. When these closed in 1992, the club moved to Tiverton Road Baths. The club closed in 1995.
