| Description | Woodlands Park Women's Adult School started in 1936 in Kings Norton with 6 members and met every Monday evening. By 1970 there were 58 members. The group met the need in the district for a 'happy Christian (un-denominational) fellowship'. A school committee meeting was held monthly. The school used the Adult School Lesson Handbooks but also invited external speakers. For many years, the President was Mrs S. Tatlow. Woodlands Park Hall where the school met is now a nursery school and community centre on the Bournville Village Trust estate. |
