| Description | This fund was created to manage the proceeds from the sale of Burlington Hall to Birmingham City Council under a Compulsory Purchase Order in 1970-1. Much of the correspondence is between Trustees of the Midland Adult School Union Trust Fund and their lawyer in relation to interpretation of the Charity Commission Scheme 1973 for this fund, and with the lawyer of the trustees of the former Burlington Trust who was holding the money from the sale of the Hall on deposit until a decision on how the proceeds should be disposed of was made by the Midland Adult School Union. |
