| Description | From 1869 William White published a journal known as the 'Monthly Record' which highlighted the wide range of Christian work (including adult school work) undertaken by the Religous Society of Friends in the Midlands. In 1882, it was replaced by a cheaper issue which became the journal of the Midland Adult Sunday School Association and focused exclusively on adult school work.
The 'Monthly Record' ceased publication in 1891 and in the same year it was replaced by 'One and All', a monthly magazine for the Midland adult schools. This became the journal of the Friends First Day School Assocation in 1895, until it was adopted in January 1901 by the National Council of Adult School Associations as its official publication, and a committee was appointed to arrange its monthly publication.
There were regional editions of the magazine and the 'One and All Midlands Supplement' contained regular reports from local adult schools in the Midlands area. This was produced until 1951, after which only an national edition was produced. It continued to be published by the National Adult School Organisation until 2009.
