AdminHistoryKings Heath Board School opened in 1878 with accommodation for boys, girls and infants. A new Junior Mixed block opened in 1895. The school was altered and reorganised in 1914 into three departments for boys, girls and infants; and again c.1928 - 1930 for senior boys, junior mixed and infants. The school closed in 1939 on the opening of Wheelers Lane Council School. The former infant block reopened in 1949 as a Junior and Infant School. The other block opened in 1951 for a Junior Mixed Department, the Infant Department remaining in the smaller block.
