Herbert G. Wood, theologian and academic, worked at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, Selly Oak from 1910 - 1940, first as lecturer, later as Director of Studies. He was the first Professor of Theology at the University of Birmingham, appointed in 1940, and was also Dean of the Faculty of Arts, 1943 - 1946. |
