| Description | This conference was organised by Warwickshire Monthly Meeting Education Committee and Friends' Educational Council London, and held at Bull Street Meeting House. Around 250 Friends attended to hear talks and discussions on aspects of Quaker training for children. The speakers were Margaret Gillett of Oxford, Eleanor A. Harris of Letchworth, Geoffrey Hoyland, Mary Hartley, Ruth Midgley and Edgar Castle. A similar conference had been held in Manchester in 1936. |
