| Description | These consist of three small notebooks and loose papers. A note, n.d. [20th/21st century] with these suggests that they were probably from Ettington and Shipston Monthly Meetings. However, Warwickshire South Monthly Meeting had been established in 1704 and included Ettington Preparative Meeting while Shipston Monthly Meeting was absorbed into Warwickshire South Monthly Meeting in 1790. The books make a few mentions of Shipston Preparative Meeting and of a 1794 Monthly Meeting at Ettington, but Monthly Meetings frequently took place at different Meeting Houses within the Monthly Meeting so it is most likely that these were Warwickshire South Monthly Meeting accounts. |
