| Description | The Children's Committee is responsible for running a Children's class and creche for those too young to attend Meeting for Worship. In the period 1994-2007 this took place either once or twice a month depending on numbers of children in the meeting. In both 2001 and 2002 there were insufficient numbers to hold the class regularly. An annual theme for the class was decided by the Committee e.g. Advices and Queries and how they relate to everyday life, Quakers and Quakerism, Parables of Jesus.
A committee responsible for the religious education of children also existed from the start of the 20th century. See SF/3/4/5/4 for records of this committee. |
