Two copies of a letter from the Reverend John Kentish to the members of the New Meeting Society, Birmingham, 20 October 1804, regarding pleas from congregation to continue as their minister in relation to overtures made by congregation at Exeter. 3. Letter from John Kentish to the Visitors of the New Meeting Sunday Schools, dated 20 October 1804, stating that he will remain with them, expressing that the Sunday Schools they serve 'constitute the chief - perhaps the best - distinction of our society' (handwritten copy of 2 above). 4. Letter from the Committee of the New Meeting Society to the John Kentish, undated, thanking him for 'friendly and general Communication you have made - but while they admire Your Candor...they feel the keenest Anxiety that can arise from a State of Doubt & Suspence'. 5.
