| Description | Minutes BCC/1/AF/6/1/3 onwards indexed. The minutes are handwritten and printed and signed by the committee chairman. Minutes BCC/1/AF/6/1/1 are in the A5 volume entitled 'Rubery Hill Finance Sub-Committee'. The minutes for October 1915 - January 1921 are currently missing (see BCC/1/AF/6/1/2). Minutes BCC/1/AF/6/1/3 onwards are in the appropriately dated combined sub-committee minute volumes (see BCC/1/AF/11/1). The minute sequence restarts from November, 1921 and there is a numbering error from March, 1935, where the numbering drops by 100 after minute 386. The minutes contain financial information far more detailed than the accounts in the Rubery Hill Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/AF/3/1), and include weekly and fortnightly accounts relating to very specific aspects of general supplies and equipment and information on staff salaries and allowances, building maintenance, works and construction, and insurance, local rates and taxes. |
