The minutes include sub-committee reports regarding grants to voluntary organisations (with some Treasurer's Reports, budgets, income and expenditure sheets and other financial details for individual organisations), appointments of voluntary and paid staff to local and community groups, information relating to the transfer of private lands and estates to the care of the Council (for example the minutes of the meeting for 4 March 1963, minute 2931, interleaved report 4 (see BCC/1/13/1/29) details the transfer of Elford Estate to the Smallholdings Committee (see BCC/1/CW/1 and also BCC/1/AG/24 Elford Hall Sub-Committee) following the demolition of the hall, reports and balance sheets detailing committee inter-chargeability and recharges of committees for services rendered to other committees, the reports on the work of the Liaison Office for Coloured People (with statistical information and tables). |
