AdminHistoryThis sub-committee was a joint sub-committee consisting of the General Purposes Stores and Contracts Sub-Committee and the Health Joint Stores Sub-Committee. It was appointed in April 1930 because many of the contracts of the Health Joint Stores Sub-Committee regarding comestibles, domestic goods and medicines were set to expire in 1930, as were the contracts negotiated by the Board of Guardians, the function of which had now been absorbed by the Council, and shared around the following committees Public Assistance, Public Health, Maternity and Child Welfare, Mental Deficiency, Asylums and Education Committees. In April 1935, this sub-committee was amalgamated with the Stores and Contracts Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/AG/10).
