| AdminHistory | The Compensations Sub-Committee was appointed in January 1892, and advised the main committee on matters relating to compensation to be paid to officers for losing office as a result of the city expansion in 1891, which brought Balsall Heath, Saltley and Ward End within the city. The functions of this sub-committee were amalgamated with the Superannuation Sub-Committee in 1911, when the City was further expanded (see BCC/1/AH/6). |
