AdminHistoryThe function of the Accounts Sub-Committee was to advise the main committee of the state of the various accounts, annuities, stocks, mortgages and bonds of the Corporation. It produced a monthly report, which it passed to the main committee on the state of the accounts and recommendations for payments etc. The sub-committee was called the Accounts Sub-Committee until November 1911, when it became the Accounts, Annuities and Stationery Sub-Committee. In November 1942, the Accounts and Annuities Sub-Committee, the Local Taxation Licenses Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/AH/9), the Rates Estimates Sub-Committee, the Priority of Expenditure Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/AH/12), and the Rates Estimates, Priority of Expenditure (see BCC 1/AH/13) were combined to form the Accounts and Licenses Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/AH/14).
