The minutes are in the volumes entitled 'Baths Sub-Committee Report Book', with the dates included on the spine. The minutes include more detailed information relating specifically to the provision of public baths in the city than the minutes of the main Baths and Parks Committee (see BCC/1/AL/1/1), and include the sub-committee reports to the main committee and detailed accounts, tenders and statements of income and expenditure relating to the building, maintenance and staffing of the public baths that fell under the committees remit. Some of the earlier volumes are actually report books with no numbered minutes at all, but have been retained in this sub series as the later combined minute and report books continue chronogically from the last dated report book. |
