The minutes are in the appropriately titled Finance Sub-Committee minute volumes. The minutes dated before January 1921 are currently missing (see BCC/1/AN/5/1/1). The minute numbers jump in July 1930 due to what appears to be a clerical error; minute 1379 is followed by 10380 (where a 0 is inserted after the initial 1 - see BCC/1/AN/5/1/3). All subsequent minutes follow on from this. The minutes include more detailed financial information relating to markets and fairs in the city, including total receipts for income and expenditure, amounts paid into bank, examinations of accounts, estimates of annual income and related correspondence and papers. |
