AdminHistoryThis sub-committee was formed in June 1926, and met at the call of the Chairman, with gaps of several months between meetings. Its original function was to investigate properties in Edgbaston Street available for acquisition by the Corporation for purposes of extending the city's markets, but went on to look at other market and slaughterhouse extensions, leases, by-laws and licences, as well as stall rentals and sanitation.
