| Description | This sub series comprises two volumes of duplicate sub-committee minutes dated 1894 - 1895. The minutes are handwritten and signed by the committee Chairman, and were originally catalogued as part of the main minute sequence. Three sub-committee minute books dated 1886 - 1889, 1893 - 1897 and 1897 - 1899 (BCC/1/AO/4/3/2 and 4 - 5) were deposited with Birmingham Archives and Heritage in 2008, and appear to be the proper minute books as they are of a similar size to the other minute books, which generally have a wider date coverage than these items. Until a final arrangement is implemented, these two minute books have been retained in the original sequence, whilst the new deposit of minute books have been retained in Muniment Room M1, as detailed on their respective catalogue entries. |
