The minute volumes pre-date the uniformly titled and dated sequence, and are entitled either 'Book Sub-Committee' or 'Reference Library Sub-Committee', with dates on the spines. The minutes comprise monthly reports giving detailed lists of books suggested for purchase for the reference library by the sub-committee, including publisher, date and price. Also included are some titles noted whilst committee members were visiting libraries abroad. |
