| Description | Minute volumes indexed. The minutes were compiled in handwritten typescript format and signed by the committee Chairman. The minutes are in the appropriately dated minute volumes. The minutes dated August 1916 - June 1921 have their own separate index volume (see BCC/1/AY/5/2/1) after which the volumes contain their own indexing systems. The minutes include detailed information on the workings of the Industrial Research Laboratory, including reports of scientific experiments carried out, and associated reports and papers relating to building and equipment, staffing and finance. |
