| AdminHistory | The Management Sub-Committee was appointed in September 1885, by order of the main committee, and comprised of several members of the Museum and School of Art Committee. Its functions appear to have copied the system of the Free Libraries Committee (see BCC/1/AT), with one Management Sub-Committee, whose functions covered staffing issues; building issues (passed onto it after the Buildings Sub-Committee was disbanded); public access and services; exhibits and exhibitions; purchases and donations; finance; the School of Art; and Aston Hall. It was also expected to consider any other specific business directed to it by the main committee. |
