| Description | Minutes BCC/1/BE/3/1/4 - 25 indexed. The minutes are handwritten and printed and signed by the committee Chairman. Minutes BCC/1/BE/3/1/1 - 3 are in uniformly titled minute volumes. Minutes BCC/1/BE/3/1/4 onwards are in the appropriately dated combined sub-committee minute volumes (see BCC/1/BE/10). There are a few numbering errors in the minutes. Firstly, there appear to be no minute numbers 3265 - 4843, whilst there is no gap in the monthly meetings between November - December 1938, when the numbering sequence changes. Secondly, a clerical error occurs after minute 6699, when instead of minute 6700, minute 7700 is used instead. The minutes include more detailed committee accounts and statements of income and expenditure than those contained in the main committee minutes (see BCC/1/BE/1/1), as well as associated correspondence and papers. |
