| AdminHistory | The Visiting Sub-Committee was appointed in January 1903, and comprised of four members of the main Housing Committee, and the Surveyor. The function of the sub-committee was to visit properties referred to by the Medical Officer, and to recommend action, either demolition or scheme of repair required by the law (administered by the Corporation). The sub-committee was merged with the Interviewing Sub-Committee in October 1909 to form the Visiting and Interviewing Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BF/4). |
