| Description | As the post 1949 minutes of the After Care Sub-Committee and After Care Case Sub-Committee (when under the jurisdiction of the Special Services Sub-Committee) could not be listed with the Special Services Sub-Committee records as they were in a large volume that could not be physically split, it was decided to also leave the small volume of post 1949 reports of these committees in the Special Schools Sub-Committee section of the catalogue. The After-Care Reports include the names of pupils discharged from special schools; date of birth; parent’s names and occupations; address; name of school attended; dates of attendance; (home conditions, educational record, character sections rarely completed); and an Annual Summary of Subsequent History. The annual summaries contain details of employment history since leaving school, marital status, other remarks and dates of visitor’s last reports. |
