| AdminHistory | The Maternity and Child Welfare Sub-Committee was originally a sub-committee to the Public Health and Housing Committee, continuing to report to the new Public Health Committee after June 1917. In January 1921, it became the sub-committee to the Maternity and Child Welfare Committee (see BCC/1/BV). In December 1933, it became a sub-committee of the new Public Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committee. The sub-committee consisted of seven members, and its purpose was to advise the main committee on all maternity and infant welfare matters. |
