| AdminHistory | The Recreation and Entertainments Committee was formed in November 1945, taking over the functions of the previous Music and Games Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/8). Its remit had also increased to include activities such as boating and fishing, from the Administration Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/4). It was renamed the Entertainments Sub-Committee in July 1960 (see BCC/1/BO/16). |
