AdminHistoryThe Finance Sub-Committee was established in May 1912, and, like all Finance Sub-Committees, advised the main committee on all financial and stores-related matters for all three of the departments that reported to the committee, namely the Lighting, Stable and Refuse Departments. In November 1917 the sub-committee was renamed the Finance and Stores Sub-Committee to reflect its full remit. By April 1959 the sub-committee was just voting through the monthly accounts, and by May 1959 the sub-committee was disbanded, with its duties reverting to the main committee.
