| AdminHistory | The Finance and General Purposes Sub-Committee was appointed November 1944, from a merger of the Finance Sub-Committee, Special Selection Sub-Committee and the general War Emergencies Sub-Committee. It consisted of four to six members of the main Committees. Its function was to deal with all the matters that these Sub-Committees formerly reported on. The sub-committee was disbanded in June 1958, although Birmingham City Archives currently holds no minutes up until that date. |
