DescriptionThe minutes are printed and signed by the committee chairman. The minutes are in the appropriately dated combined sub-committee minutes volumes (see BCC/1/BU/13). The minutes include memoranda and general reports regarding the pay and grading of non-manual staff (male and female); reports of the Town Clerk relating to departmental pay scales; information on grants to officers on passing professional examinations; some information relating to holiday entitlement; annual reports and returns relating to the re-allocation of staff grades; lists of appointments sanctioned by the main committee; information relating to the appointment and employment of junior staff; and related correspondence and papers. There are also reports relating to the transfer of Poor Law Officers across departments.
